This is a nonbiased forum for people to discuss and learn about the filming industry in "The Other LA," Louisiana. This blog will be a place to discuss the business, as well as the role that politics play in the industry. It will also be a venue to explain tax credits, the history of films done here, and report any news that relates. The entertainment, film & television industries will play a key role in boosting the economy post-Katrina and I will make sure to track these developments.
I am a senior Mass Communications student at Louisiana State University. I'm doing this blog for a political communications class, so your posts are very helpful to my grade!! I made my blog about the film industry in New Orleans because I am very interested in it and hope to work in the midst of it one day. I am also very proud to call New Orleans home!
